Counterfeit Goods and Fake Websites
HOW CAN I TELL IF A WEBSITE IS SELLING COUNTERFEIT GOODS?
You are currently on Ted’s only website. Dodgy dealers will use a number of methods to reel you in. You can always contact us but look out for the following:
WHAT IS TED DOING ABOUT COUNTERFEIT WEBSITES?
Ted works tirelessly to maintain his high standards of workmanship and customer service so you’ll understand that he makes it his business to protect his brand and his customers. In particular, he’s working hard to identify and take down websites, marketplace listings and social media accounts that he believes are selling counterfeit products or attempting to fraudulently take money.
WHAT IS TED BAKER’S OFFICIAL SITE?
We do sell through trusted partners but their domain (the bit before the .com) will not contain “tedbaker”. If you are ever unsure then please contact us.
WHY ARE COUNTERFEIT WEBSITES A PROBLEM?
Counterfeit websites provide you with fake and poor quality product or may attempt to take your money through fraud. These websites are frequently used to support serious criminal activity. By tackling these websites, Ted is committed to minimising the risk to customers and disrupting criminal enterprise.

WHAT INFORMATION SHOULD I INCLUDE WHEN REPORTING?
Remember: Never take the bait! Do not purchase any product if you’re unsure whether it is real or not. However, the following information would still be very useful to Ted even though you haven’t purchased a product:
- Where the item was available for sale;
- When you saw the items for sale;
- How much the items were on sale for; and
- How we can find the seller of the products to follow
CAN I CLAIM COMPENSATION?
Ted can only offer refunds on items purchased from Ted Baker. If you live in the United Kingdom, you should consult Citizens’ Advice on 034540405 or https://www.citizensadvice.org.uk/ to see what options are available to you.
