T FOR TALL: JUST GOT TALLER

Gone are the days when ill-fitting suits were the norm. Especially now as Peter Crouch (one of Britain’s most successful footballers and friend of Ted) has taken matters into his own hands.

Having witnessed more gents settling for sartorial half measures, Ted knew he needed to continue creating beautifully-tailored clothes for gents over 6’3”: designed to fit properly and look good.

With Ted’s help, Crouchy and fellow T for Tall ambassador, Mark Foster, put their heads together over a pint and created a wardrobe for the taller man. And here’s what Peter said about why…

So Peter, why T for Tall?

I used to wear Ted’s clothes growing up, and then obviously outgrew most of them. That’s why this range is amazing for me, I have a heart attack when I find something that fits. If I find a decent pair of jeans, I buy four or five of them, purely because I don’t know when it’s going to come around again. So thankfully this range fits, and you’ll be seeing me in a lot more of it!

Does that mean you have to get a lot of things tailored?

I used to yeah, you can’t just buy stuff off the peg. Arm length is a real problem. I’ve been speaking to Mark and he has the same, so it’ll be so nice to have a range that properly fits us.

Ted’s saving you money on a tailor then?

Yeah hopefully! That’s the thing, it’s so expensive when you get stuff made. If you can buy stuff that’s fitted for you it makes a real difference. It’ll definitely be nice to have a brand that I can go to.

What’s the worse tall joke you’ve heard?

They’re all standard really. Like “What’s the weather like up there?” “Do you play basketball?” “How tall are you?” “Can you change that lightbulb?” We’ve heard them, you know what I mean?

If you could compete against Mark in an Olympic sport, what would it be?

I think he’s probably got me at quite a few. Hmm, probably tennis. I’d take him on at that.

Okay and now for a quick-fire round…you ready?

Let’s do it
