Lunar New Year

Ted’s celebrating New Year all over again, in bigger and more spectacular fashion. With the Lunar New Year on the horizon, he’s pulled out all the stops to ensure the 15-day festival is a stylish one. Find out how he’s ringing in the year of the rooster in his own inimitable way…

Ted aimed to ruffle a few feathers with the festive window displays in his China and Hong Kong stores. He paid homage to 2017’s zodiac sign of the rooster by styling his wares between an abstract plumage of wings and feathers. His coveted accessories sprouted electric blue wings for the occasion, while elegant blooms were draped from the walls.

Red is symbolic as the colour of happiness and good fortune in China, which is why this colour is seen everywhere during the joyous New Year celebrations. As luck would have it, Ted created a special collection for the occasion crafted exclusively in crimson hues. From dainty enamel gems to fiery gowns, double your luck this year in Ted, as seen on his blogger friends Octopus2cs and toni.

Traditionally, money is gifted to family and friends over the Lunar New Year, typically delivered in little red envelopes. This year, Ted opted to give these envelopes a charming update in pastel pink, adorned in blue embossing shaped in a geometric feather pattern. Additionally, gift shoppers in his Chinese and Hong Kong stores will be treated to a matching travel mug to help keep you refreshed on your holiday travels. Ted is gifting his envelopes to friends who pop by his stores around the world, including his UK, European and Australian stores.
